	"Kristen's Walk to the Water" was held Saturday, May 21, 2005 The 3rd Annual "Kristen's Walk to the Water" began at the corner of Montauk Highway and Greene Avenue in the town of Sayville. This 3 mile walk honored Kristen Leigh Kessler, a beautiful and energetic 18-year-old, who lost her battle with leukemia in March of 1993. All donations and proceeds went to the children who are ill and in need of a smile, as well as continued research to help find a cure for leukemia.
