The Sayville Summerfest hosted by the Sayville Chamber of Commerce this past weekend was a huge success attracting as many as 100,000 visitors from all over Long Island. 

This annual tradition has been enjoyed by many residents and visitors for many years and this year's Summerfest was as good as it gets with awesome weather, great rides,  music, craft booths, food, & fun for everyone. The rides and games were provided by All County Amusements.

The weather cooperated all weekend long although, on Friday some thunders were heard and a few drops of rain fell no one was scared away.

The craft booths along Main Street and Railroad Avenue 
were filled with amazing items ranging from home made pickles to soda cans planes and dry flower wreaths and hand crafted wooden boats.

On Main Street Eddy's LI RV  featured trailers and other luxury campers. Sunday, the car show was held and featured amazing hot rods and classic automobiles.

The American Legion Smith-Weaver Post #651 outfitted to proudly display the flags of our 5 services and our American Flag front & center. Their officers did an outstanding job presenting the mission of the Sayville Post: to become a Welcoming Center for Veterans and their Families in the heart of Sayville.

The Mothers’ Center of the South Shore ran a Nursing & Diaper Changing Station. Volunteers’ from the Mothers’ Center were on hand at their booth to share about the Center’s programs and hand out brochures. For more information call: 631-563-MOMS or visit their website

The Kiwanis Club of Sayville sponsored a Casino with games of chance, Black Jack, Wheels, Under over, Money wheels, and Dice. They had  wheelbarrow basket of cheer there that was raffled off on Sunday night. They also had their annual Car Raffle that was $100.00 and the raffle will be held at the Holiday Parade the day after Thanksgiving this year.
