The Sayville Running Company located in West Sayville hosted a

"Prediction Run." The run was part of the Toys for Tots toy drive and the entry fee was a new unwrapped toy for donation.

A prediction run is a similar to a road race, but instead of the fastest person winning, the winner is the participant who can most accurately guess how long it will take them to run the course. The runners, on December 9th, had the choice of a 3.25 or 5.5 mile course.

Prizes and refreshments followed the run at Sayville Running Company at 55 Main St., W. Sayville.

The Sayville Running Company is a specialty running store and is dedicated to providing services and support to the local running and walking communities. Each employee of Sayville Running Company is an experienced runner, who uses their own experience and education along with the Aextrex I-Step machine which measures your arches, foot pressure, length and width.

The Prediction Run filled up quite a few boxes for Toys for Tots!
