The Keith Nintzel Memorial 5k Run and Walk was held June 10th on the streets on Sayville. The non-competitive walk and race started in Gillette Park.

All proceeds went to the Keith Nintzel Memorial Scholarship at Sayville High School.

Keith Nintzel was a member of the Sayville High School cross country and track teams who was involved in a fatal car accident while returning to his senior year at Binghamton University.

A scholarship fund was created in his honor at Sayville High School for graduating seniors looking to further their education. at Sayville High School for graduating seniors looking to further their education.
