The Rotary Club of Sayville held their Annual Beefsteak event on August 10th on the grounds of the Long Island Maritime Museum.

The event drew over 300 people and its menu included clams, barbequed filet mignon, "secret sauce", corn on the cob, tomatoes and cold tap beer.

Over 20 baskets were donated for the event's Chinese Auction and five cash prizes of $100, $200 and $500 were given out to some lucky participants.

The Beefsteak 2006 was another success as crowds gathered for the annual outdoor barbeque and local officials like: Legislator Bill Lindsay, Assemblywoman Ginny Fields, Council Members Pamela Greene, Chris Bodkin and Steve Flotteron enjoyed the festivites.
