The Sayville Chamber of Commerce sponsored the Annual Fall Festival on Main Street and South Main Street on October 20th and 21st. Alex Benvenuto the owner of Roma Photo was one of the art & photography exhibits participants. The visitors enjoyed live music, a petting zoo, pony rides, plenty of food and carnival rides.

The Sayville Fire Department hosted their Annual Fire Prevention Day on October 20th 2007 at the Fall Festival. They were located on Gillette Avenue between Gillette Park and The Common Ground, where the Halloween Parade finished. All day fair-goers visited the Safety House, toured the Fire Trucks, talked with firefighters, squirted water from a real fire hose and joined in other activities. Lots of safety information was available for adults and children on that day.

The Annual Halloween Parade and Jack O'Lantern Contest started at "Prince of Peace" parking lot and costumed children paraded thru Fall Festival on Main Street in Downtown Sayville to The Common Ground Park for treats, a Magic Show (featuring "Magic by Michael" of Oakdale) and the 2nd Annual Jack O'Lantern Contest.

Battle of the BBQ Brethren a Kansas City style BBQ competition and Exhibition was held in the Gillette park. This event benefited Breast Cancer Help, Inc., a Long Island based charity that is dedicated to eradicating the scourge of breast cancer.
