A local Sayville author, Diana
Tabacco-Peterson, and artist, Melissa Bonfanti, were at
Borders in Bohemia November 17, 2007 for the book signing of
their full-color children’s book! "Along Came Kelsey and
Oliver" was a great gift for a stocking stuffer, a teacher’s
present, or a grab bag gift for your children. All purchases
included a complimentary Doxie Tales book mark.

About the Book
“Along Came Kelsey and Oliver” is the first story in the
“Doxie Tales” book series. This book was inspired by the
author’s true-life long-haired, Miniature Dachshunds, Kelsey
and Oliver. Also fondly referred to as “hot dogs,”
Dachshunds have stolen the hearts of children and adults
with their playful, affectionate and witty behavior. This
heartwarming story, along with its vibrant illustrations,
tells the tale of two happy but homeless puppies who find an
abundance of love, a warm home, and true happiness with
their new family. It is certain to be loved by children of
all ages. The next two books in the Doxie Tales series
titled, “Kelsey and Oliver’s Home Sweet Home,” and “Kelsey
and Oliver’s Circle of Friends,” are planned to be released
in 2008.
