Did you know that the Town of Islip Animal Shelter spays/neuters and vaccinates all of their animals before adoption? Upon each adoption you will also receive a free physical exam with participating animal hospital. If you’re looking for a dog it’s definitely worth the trip. Check out their new country viewing room!

Here are just a few of the dogs currently listed on Petfinders.com for Islip shelter:

MARTIN (Collie German Shepherd mix) about 3 years old. According to the shelter, he is a wonderful little boy and would make an excellent family dog.

LEILA (Collie Retriever mix) between 2-4 years old. She is a large girl who would love to have a large bed in a new home.

BADGER (Beagle) is approximately 6 years old. He is a very friendly dog who would love a nice fenced in yard to run around in.

JAZZ (Bloodhound) She is young, and fussy with other dogs and small children. She is looking for the right home and someone who can train her to like everyone.
