Virginia Bishop Art Decorations by Virginia Bishop Hi, here is a picture of myself and my childhood art teacher Juliette Leveque at Summerfest 2004. I have been living in Hawaii on the island of Oahu for 21 years now but was born and raised in Sayville. My parents still own the family home in Sayville, so I though it would be fun to come back and do a show. I was nervous because my work is mostly tropical and wasn't sure of the public's response. I was lucky and my work was well received. I won a first place ribbon for graphic design and got to see some old friends and classmates. Mrs. Leveque taught art through private lessons to me from age 7-18, now in her 80's, she remains my most valued mentor still. Aloha, Virginia Bishop
